This section explains what information EasyKara collects when you use the web app, desktop app, or website, and how it's used. EasyKara is designed to process your media and lyrics locally in your browser or desktop app — audio, video, and project files are never uploaded to our servers.

Account information

If you sign in or pair a desktop device, we store your email address and a technical account identifier to manage your session and license.

Payment information

Global purchases use Polar’s hosted checkout. The retained SePay integration handles Vietnam bank payments when enabled. Providers process payment details; EasyKara receives purchase, account and license confirmations, not full card details. The regional Vietnam payment card is currently hidden.

Media and project files

Audio, video, lyrics, and exported videos are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to or stored on EasyKara's servers.

Feedback and support

If you send us feedback or contact support, we store the message and your account email so we can respond.

Analytics

Our marketing website and editor app use Google Analytics to measure page visits. EasyKara also records video export results, error categories, sanitized technical error details, and a country code inferred by Cloudflare from the request IP for auditing and support. These records may link to your account when signed in; otherwise they use a random ID stored on your device. Audio, video, lyrics, and project files are not sent with these records or to Google Analytics.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with service providers (e.g. our payment processor) as needed to operate EasyKara.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

Google advertising and your choices

Eligible web tutorial pages and the web editor may show Google AdSense ads. Google and advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and personalize advertising where consent permits. Advertising data is shared with these providers; it does not include your imported media or lyrics. Manage personalization in Google My Ad Center or your browser’s cookie settings. Where a consent message is shown, reject optional processing or reopen its privacy choices to withdraw consent. The desktop app does not include AdSense.

Hosting and diagnostics

Cloudflare hosts the site and API and processes request metadata. Sentry receives technical error reports for reliability monitoring. Google Analytics measures usage as described above; Google Fonts receives requests when online fonts are loaded. These services have their own privacy policies. Imported audio, video, lyrics and projects remain local.

Cookies and optional services

The web cookie popup lets you accept, reject or choose Analytics and advertising separately. Optional Analytics and tutorial or editor ad requests are off until enabled. Your choice is stored locally for 180 days; reopen Cookie settings in the footer, editor menu or pricing page to change it. Withdrawing Analytics consent disables future Google Analytics collection and clears accessible first-party Analytics cookies without reloading your project. Withdrawing advertising on a tutorial reloads that page to unload ads. In the editor the ad is removed without reloading your project. Google ad consent and personalization may require a separate certified consent message. This custom popup is not a Google-certified CMP. The desktop app has no AdSense and does not show this web popup.
